Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our team as the Director of Digital Marketing. This individual will deliver on key projects and initiatives that are critical to our business, including digital go-to-market strategy and execution, partnership with large digital platforms, and digital product creation and evolution. The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of the online small and medium sized business (SMB) needs across online advertising, consumption, and measurement. The will use their influence and relationship-building skills to discover the evolving business needs of SMBs and develop and execute strategies to shape how new and existing businesses grow. They anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the trends that shape the business vertical, and clearly articulate how FL100 can grow their businesses. The successful candidate will work closely with FL100 leadership and will directly contribute to the company's success by facilitating the commercial growth of FL100. The ideal candidate must be an independent, open-minded, goal-oriented strategic business thinker with excellent communication skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Go-To-Market Strategy
- Work closely with FL100 leadership to develop and continuously evolve product roadmap, digital go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and partnership opportunities to maximize value creation
- Specifically create and deliver GTM via creative solutions, playbooks, communications/email campaigns, monetization campaign strategies, strategic value packages, research enablement, case studies, thought leadership
- Deliver client engagement strategies to ensure stickiness and loyalty
- Collaborate with FL100 leadership to evaluate and implement business model innovations, including non-traditional business models
- Proactively identify and conduct due diligence on platform expansion opportunities; work closely with development team on product features and prioritization based on market insights
- Proactively identify partnership opportunities, including but not limited to eCommerce platforms
- Collaborate with FL1000 leadership to inform financial models for revenue forecast, refine business case, and guide FL100’s commercial growth initiatives
Customer Acquisition and Retainment
- Develop and implement customer acquisition and retainment plans, oversee content creation, track KPIs and dynamically adjust as needed
- Deliver narratives and sales materials to source new customers
- Proactively analyze customer insights to inform overall business strategy
Business Intelligence
- Maintain an up-to-date view on industry trends and competitive landscape among relevant generative AI startups and generative AI efforts being pursued by large companies
- Work closely with FL100 leadership to articulate product differentiation, inform and adjust overall product strategy as needed
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional experience, including in digital marketing and go-to-market strategy for software/SaaS products with a high-velocity, inside and enterprise sales motion.; familiarity with major digital marketing channels and technology
- Proven ability to grow and scale software products targeted at SMB owners, product developers and marketers.
- Deep understanding of how SMB commerce clients manage accounts, operate, and share/educate the sales pod to drive the business, specifically sectors such as Apparel & Accessories, Health & Beauty, Home & Living and other Consumer Goods sectors.
- Ability to meld technical understanding, market insights, and competitive intelligence into compelling, value-creating strategies
- Passionate about the latest trends in generative AI and their applications to product innovation

- Strong project management and facilitation skills
- Curious, sharp business acumen
- Results-driven, high-performer with highly collaborative style. Start-up experience is a must; you’re comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
