Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager with Vaccines expertise at the Associate Director or Director level to join our team as a consultant.
This role will for 10-20 hours per week for 3-6 months.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experienced project manager with a Ph.D. or Masters degree
- 8+ years of experience in research and drug development.
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical drug development process across multiple phases of research
and development with timeline, management and budgetary responsibility - Background in vaccine development required with Flu vaccine experience a plus
- Highly adaptable, strong leadership skills and experience working in multi-company collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide project management support for PM portfolio projects. Includes integrating into the team,
assuring progress toward plans, cross functional communication and identification of risks and
mitigation strategies - Support a project team from inception to approval of the project plan and budget. Working in
collaboration with the project lead, key activities include: - Form and coordinate a cross-company collaborative working team
- Identify key activities from the beginning of the project through DC/IND milestones.
- Definine key project decision points, team and company roles and responsibilities
- Build a budget to support the plan and seeking approval from senior management.
- Ensure communication both with leadership and across program partners and consultants.
- Ensure project plan is up to date in Smartsheet and monthly communication of project plan to leadership
- Support could be for 1 or more PM portfolio projects
