The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate HR colleague to join us temporarily to support our team during HR colleague maternity leave. In this role, you will have the chance to drive regional projects, serve as regional PBP to collaborate closely with the global & regional team to address HR matters for our APAC offices, and contribute to the GEO expansion People agenda within the region. This position reports to the Director of People, APAC.
YOU WILL:
- Collaborate with business managers to develop and implement tailored people plans and solutions that drive business success and deliver measurable results.
- Ensure strict adherence to local employment laws and regulations, maintaining a high standard of compliance within the organization.
- Lead people-related projects with a focus on timely delivery, measurable outcomes, and effective communication/change management across the region.
- Partner with various regional HR functions to achieve collective people team goals.
- Act as an ambassador for Flexport's culture and values, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as an HR Generalist or Business Partner in a fast-growing company.
- Good knowledge of Mainland China employment laws and HR regulations.
- Experience with HR practices in Asia countries besides China is a BIG PLUS.
- Proven experience in managing projects and programs with a strong problem-solving orientation.
- Strong learning capability
- Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to articulate ideas and data clearly.
- Ability to source, interpret, and leverage data to tell compelling stories and influence decision-makers.
- Comfortable challenging ideas and facilitating discussions that allow diverse perspectives to be heard.
