Job Title: LPN - IV Certified
Department: Urgent Care Wesley Chapel/Zephyrhills
Reports to: Office Supervisor
Job Summary: Assists providers and manages clinical functions in the department
Our Urgent Care Center is seeking a Full-Time LPN to join their team! Candidates must be willing to work weekends and holidays, with some shifts being 12 hours or more. Prior Urgent Care experience is preferred but not required. Must be willing to work at both of our locations in Wesley Chapel & Zephyrhills.

THE KEYS TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
- Love of patients and providing excellent care
- Confidential handling of patient’s accounts and records
- Entering data into Electronic Health Records
- Preparing patients for examination and/or procedures
- Adherence to company policies
- HIPAA and OSHA Compliance
Keys to Success in this Role:
- Properly room patients (take vitals, prepare exam room, obtain consents as needed, order x-rays, etc)
- Assist provider during examination and with treatment
- Administer injections and immunizations
- Properly draw patients (up to 6 per hour or 35-40 per day)
- Maintain medical equipment
- Organize and maintain sample and supply closets
- Perform incidental duties as needed
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Florida LPN License
- IV Certification
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (including shifts 12 hours or more)
- Prior Urgent Care experience helpful but not required
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Able to stand or walk for long periods
- Use of proper body mechanics
- Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Occupational Exposure:
- High risk exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards
