Medical Assistant - Full Time/Gastroenterology/Tampa, FL

This opening is for a full-time Medical Assistant for our Gastroenterology office. Candidate must be highly organized, have good communication, understand medical terminology, and work well others. Standard MA duties
experience scheduling procedures, getting authorizations, and getting prior authorizations for medications. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of Medical Assistant program
• Medical Assistant certification is required
• Minimum 2 years experience required
• Excellent communication skills including verbal/written, in person and on the phone
