About the role
As a Space & Range Strategic Projects Lead you’ll lead the transformation of our existing Space Management practices to be more data-driven and technology enabled to facilitate the delivery of world class, sustainable, customer driven Merchandise strategies. As part of a high performing culture within our Customer Insights Team you will effectively influence key stakeholder partners by applying the latest customer insight, data, technology and category expertise.
 
Some key responsibilities include:
·       Lead and manage Foodies’ strategic transformation initiatives within Macro Space Optimisation and Planogram Automation.
·       Develop and implement the roadmap and execution plan specific to the strategic initiatives.
·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including category management, store operations, and IT, to ensure successful project execution.
·       Work with third party software providers to help develop the best solutions to enable greater use of customer data and maximise the capability of technology.
·       Lead a team of Space & Range Analysts fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
·       Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to proactively drive continuous improvement.
 
About you
You’ll be an experienced leader who is well organised, pragmatic and a lateral thinker with an inquisitive mind with proven ability to manage change for the better.  You’ll also have a strong track record in strategic FMCG, or similar industry roles, preferably in medium to large customer focused retail organisations.
 
You’ll also have:
·       Proven experience in driving digital transformation and/or process improvement.
·       Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with critical thinking and judgment.
·       Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities and navigate through ambiguity.
·       Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to clearly articulate ideas/concepts, and influence and persuade others. 
·       The ability to confidently and effectively present data to stakeholders, both internal and external.
