About the Role
The position involves leading strategic bid management by collaborating with cross-functional teams for competitive bidding opportunities. Responsibilities include overseeing the end-to-end RFP response process, crafting high-quality submissions, and taking ownership of bid-related tasks with precision. Building relationships with internal stakeholders and implementing quality assurance processes for bid responses are key aspects. The role also requires gaining in-depth product knowledge through project implementation involvement. The candidate will manage bid collateral within an internal tool, ensuring organized and accessible documentation. Qualifications include proven senior bid management experience, familiarity with RFP tools, excellent communication skills, and a track record of successful outcomes. Experience in technology or professional services is preferred, and knowledge of finance processes in a law firm is beneficial. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Bid Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for cohesive and compelling bid responses.
- RFP Response Excellence:
- Oversee and deliver end-to-end response process for RFPs and competitive bidding opportunities.
- Create high-quality, tailored responses showcasing company strengths
- Task Ownership and Performance:
- Take direction and ownership from senior leadership in constructing bids and completing RFPs.
- Perform tasks related to bid management with precision and attention to detail.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement sound and efficient quality assurance processes to review and refine bid responses.
- In-Depth Product Delivery:
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of our products and operational methodologies through direct involvement in project implementation.
- Ownership of Bid Collateral:
- Manage and own bid collateral within Fulcrum's internal bid and RFP management tool.
- Ensure the organization and accessibility of essential documentation for streamlined bid processes.
Qualifications
- Proven senior bid management experience in technology or professional services.
- Experience with finance processes within a law firm is beneficial.
- Familiarity with RFP management tools is a preferred qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of successful bid and RFP outcomes.
- Proven determination to maintain a strong work ethic, coupled with an eagerness to learn and a hands-on approach to tasks.
