About the Role:

As a Junior Accountant at our organization, you will be an integral part of our finance team, gaining valuable experience in various accounting functions. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate or someone early in their accounting career who is eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. The Junior Accountant will be exposed to fundamental accounting tasks and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Record Maintenance:
    • Assist in maintaining accurate and organized financial records, including data entry and reconciliation tasks.
    • Learn and apply basic accounting principles to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
  2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    • Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment verification, and collections assistance.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
  3. Financial Reporting Assistance:
    • Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and statements.
    • Contribute to financial analyses to support decision-making.
  4. Assist in Compliance and Audits:
    • Learn and adhere to local, state, and federal regulations relevant to accounting.
    • Provide support during internal and external audits.
  5. Data Entry and System Usage:
    • Utilize accounting software and tools for data entry and basic financial tasks.
    • Learn and navigate relevant financial systems to support daily operations.
  6. General Administrative Support:
    • Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.
    • Assist in organizing and maintaining financial documents.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and willingness to learn and grow in the field.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

 

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
