An overview of this role

As a Senior Business Automation Manager within the Renewals organization, you will be a key strategic and operational leader driving the transformation of our renewals business. Your focus will be on building scalable, data-driven automation across three core areas: Auto-Renewals, Self-Service, and AI-Powered Renewals Automation. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end renewal processes that are seamless, predictable, and customer-centric.

What you'll do

  • Lead the design and execution of our Auto-Renewals strategy, including systems enablement, legal alignment, and performance optimization.
  • Build and scale a Self-Service Renewals motion, empowering customers to renew on their terms while improving efficiency and retention.
  • Partner with AI/ML and Data teams to implement AI-powered automation across the renewals funnel, including intelligent outreach, predictive analytics, and automated workflows.
  • Translate business goals into system requirements and influence product roadmaps for internal and customer-facing tools.
  • Own operational dashboards and metrics for automated renewals, continuously identifying areas for efficiency and innovation.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership in setting automation roadmaps, KPIs, and long-term business impact goals.
  • Identify and remove blockers to automation through process redesign, systems optimization, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach by integrating frontline feedback and usage data into automation strategy.

What you'll bring

  • 7+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Business Automation, or Program Management
  • A minimum of  2+ years in strategy or operations consulting or equivalent high-impact, cross-functional project leadership.
  • Deep understanding of B2B SaaS renewal and retention motions, with a track record of transforming manual processes into scalable systems.
  • Proven success driving initiatives at the intersection of business strategy, operations, and technology.
  • Experience collaborating across Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver complex solutions.
  • Analytical mindset with strong systems thinking; comfortable working across tools, processes, and data flows to deliver outcomes.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Gainsight, Zendesk, and data analytics tools (Bonus: Experience applying AI/ML solutions to operational use cases).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
  • Strong bias for action, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize impact in a fast-paced environment.

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of listed locations only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. See more information on our benefits and equity. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.
