YOUR MISSION

The way we manage our company is built on the belief that by giving a WOW service to our clients, we will be able to change the delivery market. How are we doing it? By paying attention to all the details. Glovo is a hyperlocal marketplace featuring the most trendy places in each city and delivering their products in less than 60 minutes. As the PLECA Regional QCommerce Lead, you will play a key role on the regional team, helping define the steps for the success of becoming the #1 Delivery player in the region. You will be directly responsible for the Qcommerce strategy of the 6 markets, mapping & raising the bar within the local commercial structure and assuring a top-notch partner experience. 

THE JOURNEY

  • Develop the regional strategy. Design and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with both local market dynamics and global priorities.
  • Drive standardization & scalability. Foster a Best practice sharing across markets and help process optimization through analysing underneath the surface, identifying improvement areas and creating solutions that could potentially be scaled across the region with clear frameworks
  • Analyze and optimize performance. Continuously monitor key metrics to evaluate the impact of commercial strategies, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Support key partner negotiations. Lead and participate in high-impact negotiations, ensuring deals drive both growth and sustainable profitability.
  • Own the commercial lifecycle. Manage and supervise all commercial aspects of the commercial department, from onboarding to optimization and long-term retention.
  • Build the bridge between Global & Local Teams. Act as the key liaison between regional, local, and global teams, ensuring seamless execution of commercial initiatives.
  • Cross-functional collaboration. Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Product, and Finance teams to ensure commercial success in the region.
  • Enablement, set-up for success. Work closely with local management to set a High bar for the hiring of the local commercial team and the creation of a solid talent pool (Onboarding, Development plans, Mentoring programs,.)

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Key Account Expertise: Experience in managing and growing key accounts with a customer-centric approach.
  • Project & Task Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate cross-functional tasks efficiently.
  • Strategic Agility: experience in drafting strategic plans and engaging others on them
  • Strong Drive for Results: Relentless focus on pushing forward, even when others hesitate.
  • Analytical Mindset: Skilled at identifying when and where to deep dive for impactful insights.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willing and able to travel as needed for business success.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong command of English (written and spoken).

Nice to have:

  • FMCG Sales Experience: Exposure to fast-moving consumer goods is a plus
  • Marketing Background: Understanding of marketing principles or experience in a marketing role is beneficial.
