YOUR MISSION

As a Senior Analyst Operations, you’ll take the wheel in managing operational performance and courier supply across some of Glovo’s most strategic Italian cities. Couriers are at the heart of our marketplace, and you’ll play a key role in ensuring both their daily performance and the long-term sustainability of our fleet.

You’ll be driving data-informed decisions, leading impactful projects, and helping shape the future of logistics in one of the most dynamic environments out there.

• 🎯 Define priorities and craft action plans to improve operational metrics and courier performance.
• 📊 Analyze daily and weekly KPIs with a strategic lens, ensuring long-term success across all cities in your region.
• 🚀 Lead efficiency and quality-focused projects to reduce delivery times, control costs, and elevate courier satisfaction.
• 🔄 Build and maintain smooth cross-functional communication to ensure fast, accurate information flows between city teams and central functions.
• 🌍 Maintain full awareness of courier supply status at all times — becoming the go-to expert on your cities’ fleet performance.
• 💡 Use data to identify best practices, standardize processes, and drive consistent improvement across cities and countries.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• A Master’s degree in a technical or analytical field (e.g. Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, etc.).
• 3+ years of experience in demanding analytical or operational roles (consulting, strategy, finance, logistics, or tech).
• Exceptional analytical skills — you can turn complex data into actionable insights that drive impact.
• You’re a problem-solver who gets energy from diving deep and cracking tough challenges.
• You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty: you’re comfortable working in the field and directly supporting our couriers.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, and hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or Data Studio.
• Highly autonomous, results-driven, and detail-oriented — you make things happen.
• Fluent in English and Italian
