Deel is hiring an Country Manager Lead, to provide services to Greenhouse as its Employer of Record (more information here). 

The Account Executive, Country Lead will lead our market entry and sales efforts in the ANZ (Australia and New Zealand) market. This person will manage the exciting work of launching and growing our presence in the region and building relationships to drive revenue growth. This is a unique opportunity to establish a new market for a leading SaaS company, and comes with the responsibility of both revenue generation and helping build and manage a team as we stand up our ANZ business.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market (GTM) sales strategy for the ANZ market, aligning with Greenhouse’s global sales objectives
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to deal closure, maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities at all times
  • Coach and support members of the ANZ team as they come onboard to ensure they are set up for success and that revenue goals are achieved
  • Be the face of Greenhouse in the ANZ market at industry events and cultivate relationships with enterprise leaders to drive adoption of our solutions
  • Establish partnerships with local system integrators, resellers, and other strategic allies to amplify reach and scalability of our offerings
  • Work cross-functionally to lay the groundwork for operational success, including helping manage budgets, compliance, and local resourcing

You should have

  • A track record of launching and/or scaling businesses in new markets, as well as achieving revenue targets
  • Proven experience in leading sales teams with a strong focus on results, action, and ownership
  • A broad dynamic range, and the ability to operate strategically at an executive level while also diving into tactical details as needed
  • Strong SaaS ecosystem expertise and a deep understanding of the ANZ business landscape, particularly in HR tech
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in SaaS sales, and 2+ years of front-line people management experience
  • Exceptional relationship-building and consultative selling skills, with strong experience engaging C-level executives effectively
  • An entrepreneurial mentality and the ability to thrive in an early-stage environment
