Gusto is seeking a Workplace Experience Lead who will serve as the face of the New York office and dive into special projects. Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Greet all employees and guests who come through the door
  • Manage office vendor contracts, schedules, services and relationships
  • Liaison for future build outs 
  • Planning, setup and breakdown of community events & activities
  • Implement and oversee processes for office inventory management
  • Provide ad-hoc support to other staff members and departments as necessary
  • Manage Executive corporate housing logistics 
  • Act as the liaison between the office and building management for facilities repairs and adjustments
  • Keep office service resources and documents up to date
  • Budget management and tracking 
  • Triaging and solving for workplace tickets
  • Project management
  • Communications liaison for NYC population
  • Space planning and seating management 

Here’s what we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in an office management or administrative support role in a startup or office environment of 100+ employees
  • Positive and energetic with a passion to drive the Gusto values to unparalleled levels
  • Stay cool under pressure and are able to effectively prioritize tasks
  • Pay close attention to detail and follow through on tasks with a can-do attitude
  • Have strong problem solving skills and reasoning to solve administrative issues
  • Have a curiosity for people and enjoy creating an environment where people feel welcomed and comfortable

Our cash compensation amount for this role is $93,000/yr to $127,000/yr for New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.


Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.

Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas. 

When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
