We’re looking to add to our Biz Ops & Analytics team, a cross-functional team that includes Product and Go-to-market analysts, supporting product and commercialization stakeholders together. This position is Full-Time and Hybrid located in Bangalore in India, reporting to the Head of Biz Ops & Analytics.We are looking for a seasoned Product Analyst to support multiple product managers in a pod-embedded model. Providing Customer Journey and Engagement analytics for PMs managing HackerRank Community is a top priority for this role. In addition supporting the commercialization effort of the ML platform team through processes such as model QA, support for regulatory audits, and model impact, is another priority. The role is expected to guide PMs to accomplish business outcomes, and enable modernization of HRW, taking advantage of AI driven features

**This role will be onsite in Bangalore during the 1st and 3rd months of each quarter (Jan, Mar, Apr, Jun, Jul, September, October, December) and is subject to change.

You will be working on:

  • Supporting PMs and Product Designers to deliver new or improved features
  • Supporting HackerRank Community (our B2C product) and HackerRank for Work (our B2B) product teams, to make data-informed investments
  • Helping design, execute and interpret user journeys to accelerate product activation, retention, engagement, and monetization
  • Exploring large, diverse and complex datasets to create actionable insights
  • Owning and developing queries, analysis and visualizations for ad-doc, recurring, troubleshooting requests and projects

We are looking for:

  • 4-5 years of experience as a web or e-commerce analyst, data analyst, or product analyst with a proven record of impacting business
  • 2+ years of experience focused on feature and usage metrics, A/B testing, conversion and retention, segmentation, and developing user personas and their usage patterns
  • Capability to own and deliver projects end-to-end with minimal guidance
  • Expert knowledge of SQL and MS Excel. Exposure and familiarity with Python or R preferred
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts and partnering on building new DW tables
  • Hands-on data visualization experience through Looker or comparable platform strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of basic statistical concepts with emphasis on statistical hypothesis testing (t-tests, z-tests, etc.). Experience with A/B and multivariate testing is preferred
  • Detail oriented and expert in both qualitative and quantitative analysis with a passion for delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders
  • Strong product and business acumen with aptitude to apply it critically towards solving problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills

Nice to have: (optional)

  • Bachelors or higher degree in Information Management, MIS, Business Analytics, or related field
  • Strong experience with large data sets, clickstream application analytics
  • Familiarity with Talent Acquisition space
