About the Role:
As the Head of Marketing Communications for Harry’s Brand, you will lead the creation and execution of innovative communication strategies that differentiate and elevate our brand in a competitive marketplace. This role requires you to manage and synergize our social media, influencer marketing, public relations, and partnership strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and conversion. You will be instrumental in driving the strategic planning for various channel initiatives, ensuring they align with our brand values, messaging, and meet ambitious performance goals.
What you will accomplish:
- Strategic Oversight and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that integrate social media, influencer marketing, public relations, and partnerships to promote brand consistency and increase market penetration.
- Social Media Management: Oversee the strategy for all social media channels (Tiktok, IG, YouTube shorts, Reels), ensuring content aligns with Harry's brand voice and business goals. Leverage analytics to optimize engagement and growth. Define and iterate on how Harry’s will show up in all content mediums and comms channels. Define voice, guidelines and visual style for content, and create the right mix of content at different points in the awareness/consideration/conversion funnel.
- Influencer Strategy: Craft and execute influencer marketing strategies that effectively utilize personalities and content creators to expand brand reach and authenticity. What communities do we want to engage with? What types of influencers make the most sense to reach our customers?
- Content Strategy Development: Guide the creation of compelling content across all platforms, ensuring it supports strategic objectives and brand standards. Lead team of people who are developing content ideas, contracting with creators and influencers to develop content, scheduling content to be shared and proactively engaging with the community and measuring response. Own the creator strategy (internal and external) and execution across micro, mid and macro creators, driving outreach, connection and execution
- Agency Management: Manage relationships with our social content agency, influencer agency, and PR agency to ensure they deliver on brand objectives and provide ROI. Act as the primary point of contact for all external communications and campaign management for these agencies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of three, dedicated to managing our social channels, nurturing our social and influencer communities, and executing our PR strategies. Set clear team goals, manage workload, and drive professional development. Build a culture constantly learning, measuring, reporting and a team capable of consistently evolving itself with the latest trends and platforms.
- Performance Measurement: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns to refine strategies and report on ROAS. Own all social & influencer reporting and analytics, always making the case for social and community’s key role in Harry’s brand and growth. Set goals as it relates to overall social / community engagement
- Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with brand, creative, retail, and product teams to ensure message cohesion and optimal impact across all consumer touchpoints. Have a deep empathy with other functions – growth, brand, etc - and recognition that deep partnership is essential, and content needs to make those functions successful and vice versa
- Define and allocate budget across all comms pillars (owned content, influencer, contracted with agencies or creators, PR, partnerships etc) to drive best overall outcomes
This should describe you:
You are a seasoned marketing maven with a minimum of 8-10 years in integrated marketing communications, equipped with extensive experience in managing high-impact social media campaigns, influencer collaborations, and PR strategies. You have a proven track record of commissioning/executive producing highly engaging video content across social channels. Your expertise includes strategic oversight of agency partnerships and partnership with internal teams. You thrive in dynamic environments and possess a keen ability to anticipate market trends and consumer behaviors. Your passion for creating memorable and impactful communication is matched by your ability to anticipate and adapt to shifting consumer and technology trends. You have experience setting strategy, driving measurement, managing small teams with a common vision. Experience with media agencies and in strategic creative agency roles is a plus, along with a robust background in social strategy, public relations, and partnerships.

That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and our equity program. The base salary hiring range for this position is $158,400-$217,800, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate’s location, skill level and experience.
