Job Description
For our ambitious and fast-growing Menu Strategy & Planning team in Copenhagen, we are looking for a Business Analyst.
Working in the Menu Strategy & Planning team, you will co-own menu planning with primary focus on Menu Planning Optimization and be responsible for optimizing (i) tooling and processes around menu planning as well as (ii) the performance and composition of our menu.
This is a high-impact role where analytical thinking meets business planning. Your mission is to use your analytical expertise to leverage data about our product performance and feedback from our customers to achieve the best possible product offering for our customers.
You will be based out of our Nordic HQ in Islands Brygge, Copenhagen, and report to the Senior Menu Planning & Strategy Manager.
You will…
- Analyse the performance of our menu, derive insights that can be leveraged to adjust our menu composition and improve product performance
- Be responsible for our budgeting process from a product planning perspective, ensuring that there is a clear link from our Ingredients, Recipes, and Menus to our Business Plan and Company Strategy
- Identify and implement operational improvements across the planning workflow—e.g., improving efficiency, reducing planning lead times, and reducing the carbon footprint of the menu
- Drive cross-functional projects that connect culinary development, procurement, and menu strategy, coordinating across teams to deliver business-critical initiatives
- Contribute to setting objectives and key results guiding the mid- and long-term development of our menu; identify strategic initiatives aiming to enable us to deliver on our key results; track progress towards our key results and prioritize the key initiatives you implement accordingly
- Scope and execute physical product A/B tests, building solid business cases, coordinating stakeholders, and tracking performance against commercial KPIs
- Build and maintain a network of international counterparts enabling you to stay up to date with menu planning best practices across markets and have counterparts to contact for support when need be
You have…
- 2+ years of experience as a business analyst, business controller, product analyst, consultant, project manager or similar roles, ideally in a product-driven or consumer business
- Excellent gsheet/excel skills allowing you to efficiently combine, aggregate, filter, visualize and format large data sets (1) to generate insights for your own analysis, (2) enable others to draw insights, and (3) build automated tools to support processes within menu planning
- Ability to effectively communicate complex problems as well as business recommendations to a broad range of stakeholders (in both written and oral forms)
- Self-driven attitude and can work independently to drive progress in your area of responsibility, always keeping an eye on quality and timeliness; you can provide recommendations on prioritization of different actions and proactively reach out to your manager to highlight challenges
- Strong problem-solving skills that help you efficiently find the right approach to tackle any analytical challenge
- Exceptional analytical skills enabling you to identify patterns in large data sets, organize and make sense of multiple data sources
- Solid business acumen allowing you to identify and prioritize high-impact business opportunities within menu planning
- Fluency in English, our working language
- Familiarity with SQL is a plus, but not a requirement - We believe that a skill can be trained with the right mindset
