In this role you are responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of tech hardware used across the production in our DC in Bleiswijk. As an Hardware Engineer you are part of the Facility and Technical Maintenance team. Within this team you are the hardware expert on all the systems that support our operations such as; Warehouse Management Systems, Pick to Light Systems, Throughput Measurement Systems, etc. Together with the  team, you are responsible for all these systems being up and running, which results in a smooth production process - without issues for our operational teams and end customers.

🥑 This is how you’ll make an impact

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve Production hardware issues promptly and efficiently.
  • You communicate with 3rd parties and International HelloFresh colleagues for effective troubleshooting and resolving of issues.
  • You take care of preventive and corrective maintenance of our Production tech systems 
  • Collaborate with the IT Team to perform regular system upgrades and preventive maintenance to ensure security and stability of our tech production environment.
  • Keep track of production devices inventory, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals. Maintain accurate records and oversee the replacement or repair of defective equipment.
  • Within projects and improvements you are the person who knows what the impact will be and you are able to scope what needs to be done to make the project a success.

🍉 These are the ingredients you’ll bring to the team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with end-users and team members.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows and Android operating systems
  • Previous experience with Zebra, Windows and Android devices is preferred
  • A basic understanding of networking hardware, support and protocols.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Support experience in a warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment is preferred
