About the role: 

We are looking for a highly skilled Menu Operations & Analytics Associate Spain & Italy to help shape our product and drive the next phase of growth for our young markets. The role can either be based in Barcelona or Milan. In this key role, you report to our Senior Manager, Menu Planning & Analytics. You will support the menu planning process, with the objective of delivering delicious and cost-efficient menus to our customers. This is a very hands-on role, with lots of exposure to various stakeholders, and a real impact on our customer satisfaction and their delicious achievements at home!

What You’ll Do

• Menu Creation & Optimization: You’ll be in charge of creating menus which are appealing & exciting to our customers, while being cost effective and complying with our Supply Chain guidelines. To do so, you’ll be working with an algorithm, which offers endless possibilities to create the best possible menus.
• Operations Support: You’ll collaborate with various teams to solve operational or supply challenges on upcoming menus (shortage of an ingredient, marketing needs, etc.).
• Management of menu changes: You will select alternative recipes when necessary, finding the most appropriate fit given our operational constraints.
• Process Management: You’ll contribute to projects that optimise and automate our product processes, working closely with other teams.
• Reporting: You’ll monitor weekly recipe and menu performance and conduct monthly/quarterly performance analyses.
• International Collaboration: You’ll work with HelloFresh teams in other markets to identify and leverage synergies.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an operations and/or analytics role, ideally in foodtech.
• You are proud of your business/engineering school degree
• Being a highly independent & proactive individual is essential, since you will have to split your time between two markets.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential; knowledge of SQL  and  basic Python is a big advantage.
• A passion for food and an understanding of the local cuisine culture of Italy/Spain are strong pluses.
• You’re  fluent in English (written and spoken). Fluency in Italian or Spanish is a strong plus.
