The role

We’re looking for you to join our HelloFresh People Team as a People Technology Analyst (Workday) in our New York Headquarters.

In this versatile role, you will be responsible for the successful operation of our People technologies and tools, specifically Workday HCM, Absence Management, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, Benefits, Payroll and Workday Help. You’ll be focused on responding to People technology cases related to systems enhancements, continuous improvements, functionality changes and business as usual requests that will drive efficiencies throughout our People Function. You’ll bring your Workday functional capabilities to enable our People Function to be more effective each day. You’ll use your expert consulting skills to work with stakeholders at all levels - inside and outside the People function - finding creative solutions to enhance the employee experience and ways of working for everyone at HelloFresh. 

In this role you’ll be primarily focused on managing requests and queries focused around Workday’s  support solutions in HCM, Absence Management, Payroll, Time Tracking and Benefits, with opportunities to lead continuous improvement system enhancements with the goal of reducing operational overheads. We are live on Workday globally and are constantly rolling out new features within Workday to improve the overall user experience, so we have a very exciting continuous improvement backlog and roadmap for you to work with.

What you’ll do

  • Be a subject matter expert for Workday support topics
  • Respond and resolve Workday related tickets, primarily within HCM, Absence Management, Payroll, Time Tracking and Benefits modules
  • Problem solve and identify and resolve the root cause of tickets to reduce ticket counts and improve the user experience for the People Function and wider business at HelloFresh
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve HelloFresh by using Workday as a transformational tool
  • Consult with stakeholders at all levels to ensure Workday is built with HR customers and en-users in mind
  • Provide production support and work on troubleshooting and resolving critical issues
  • Coach and mentor junior colleagues in the Global People Systems team on Workday functional topics
  • Take a leading role in maximising Workday’s reporting and analytics capabilities
  • Optimize and maintain the security model in Workday and ensure it’s aligned to the People function and business end users’ needs
  • Maintain data integrity in system by identifying data error trends and performing system audits
  • Develop and maintain user support materials (‘how to’ documents, videos) and deliver training to colleagues across functions

What you’ll bring

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in designing, building, testing and deploying Workday functional solutions
  • An in-depth understanding of the HR function - having knowledge around HR processes, structures, roles and responsibilities
  • A deep knowledge in key Workday functional areas such as Core HCM, Absence Management, Payroll, Time Tracking and Benefits
  • An extensive understanding of key workday functional areas such as Staffing, Worker Data, Organisations, Business Processes, Security, Reporting & Analytics
  • A strong consulting background - with a proven track record of asking the right questions to find the best solution and challenging requirements where necessary
  • Extensive experience in Workday data conversion and EIBs
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets, being comfortable with complex formulae and managing large volumes of data
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex technical ideas in an easy to understand way 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's Degree with excellent grades in Business Administration, Computer Science, HR Management or related field
  • Experience in SCRUM would be an advantage

New York Pay Range
$82,500$100,000 USD
