Senior Sanitation Manager
Factor_ a brand of HelloFresh is seeking a Senior Sanitation Manager. The Senior Sanitation Manager will work to continually improve the sanitation processes, to ensure the processes are sound across Factor, to meet operational goals and objectives, and to ensure adherence to safety and GMP regulations. The Senior Sanitation Manager coordinates activities and provides coaching and guidance to sanitation managers at each DC. The Senior Sanitation Manager works alongside the team, stepping in as needed to ensure maximum productivity and will be responsible for the cleaning process at our Ready to Eat Meal Kit facilities.
You will....
- Continually improve the sanitation process
- Responsible for monitoring performance and reporting out sanitation KPI’s
- Ensure compliance in all facets of FDA, SQF, CCOF, Gluten and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist all Factor locations with any Sanitation needs.
- Responsible for directing and supervising a group of employees involved in inspection and sanitation procedures.
- Develop and/or adapt inspection equipment to meet sanitation control standards, make suggestions regarding procedures, standards, and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product safety.
- Analyze facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems to determine what action should be taken within the limits of standard practices.
- Responsible for compilation and maintenance of sanitation reports and records.
- Investigate and determine the cause of faulty work and consult and advise other departments as to corrective measures.
- Provide all employees with necessary tools, proper training, and corrective direction.
- Interact with site leadership to ensure food safety of product and DC.
- Maintain discipline, morale, and harmonious relations among subordinates.
- Investigate and adjust personnel problems within the area of responsibility.
- Effectively recommend as to hiring, promotions, wage adjustments and terminations.
- Report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
- Understand and enforce requirements of SQF Quality Code and ensure that all staff is aware of their responsibilities / accountability as it relates to the SQF Quality Code

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in a manufacturing and assembly environment and is regularly exposed to cool and/or cold temperatures (10º - 40º). The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, reach and lift for a minimum of 10 to 12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects and/or tools. The employee is required to talk or hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
The employee must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
At a minimum, you have...
- Minimum of 5yrs of sanitation management experience required.
- Preferred multi-site experience.
- Preferred minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sanitation in a food manufacturing environment.
- HS diploma or GED required.
- 4-year degree preferred or equivalent work-related experience
- Intermediate computer skills requirement – data analysis/creation, Microsoft office and google equivalent
- Preferred food safety certifications SQF, BRC, HACCP is a plus
