The role

As a Senior Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d), you will drive precise demand forecasting and effective inventory management strategies across our supply chain. You will implement industry best practices, refine planning methodologies, and ensure alignment between demand signals, supply constraints, and business objectives.

This role necessitates close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Strategic Procurement, Data & Analytics, Supply Chain Operations & Planning, and local market teams. You will act as the subject-matter expert, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent and accurate demand planning processes across all regions.

What you’ll do

• Establish mechanisms and track forecast accuracy to measure and improve forecasting performance continuously
• Ensure clear communication and reporting of planning data, assumptions, and outcomes to all relevant stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making
• Create mid-term upstream planning governance
• Collect available data and create review mechanisms (e.g. WBRs)
• Define actionable learnings and create a continuous improvement roadmap
• Provide training and support to local teams on best practices in demand planning to ensure consistency and accuracy across regions

What you’ll bring

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience with demand planning, forecasting or supply chain management
• Strong ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions, problem-solving techniques, and structuring of complex projects
• Skilled with forecasting and planning tools, software, and data visualization
• Experience in working with Microsoft Office programs & G-Suite as well as programming skills (SQL, Tableau, Python)
• Effective in collaborating with teams, with conflicting priorities, and presenting complex information
• Capable of thriving in flexible team structures around the world with a healthy degree of uncertainty
• Language: English, and other European languages considered a plus (German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian)

• Industry Knowledge: Experience in the relevant industry for better demand insights
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements
• Advanced Analytical Tools: Familiarity with advanced analytics or machine learning tools
