The role
The Configuration Strategist provides pre-sales configuration support within a DOC team for direct and T1/T2 indirect business in APAC. Maintains an expert level knowledge of HITACHI VANTARA solutions and technical configuration requirements to satisfy customer needs. Works closely with field sales and other DOC personnel (Pricing Strategists, PMO) to achieve responsiveness and configuration accuracy meeting agreed SLA’s.
What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
• 3~5 years’ experience directly related to IT systems and data storage issues.
• Prior SE experience is preferred.
• Must have strong background in supporting field sales personnel.
• Thorough knowledge of storage industry and customer requirements.
• Must have excellent understanding of HITACHI VANTARA products and configuration requirements coupled with a full understanding of HITACHI VANTARA sales support tools (e.g. CPQ & SalesForce).
• Learning through on-going training provided by the company and also by self-learning
• Ability to effectively communicate and share information with peers and all levels of the organization.
• Self-motivator who demonstrates drive and initiative.
• Language capability in English. Other languages also appreciated.
