Job Summary

The Finance team at Hitachi Vantara seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Forecasting Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate actuals reporting and forecasting analysis to report to the Executive team and across all functions of the business. This role will have an opportunity to grow as our team does, beginning with developing further our cashflow analysis and treasury activities providing insights on strategic measures.

The role

• Develop and maintain Actuals Reporting and Forecasting analysis alongside detailed cash flow forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyze historical cash flow data to identify trends and variances.
• Collaborate with business partners to gather relevant financial information and ensure comprehensive forecasting.
• Monitor and report on cash flow performance, highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
• Provide strategic recommendations to improve cash flow management and optimize working capital.
• Prepare and present cash flow reports and analysis to senior management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of cash management policies and procedures.
• Support the finance team in budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes affecting cash flow forecasting.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in cash forecasting, financial analysis, or a related role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with Anaplan system is a plus.
