The Role

We’re looking for expert in Advanced NetApp L3 level support, CVO ONTAP, ITIL processes (Change Management, Problem Management) and experience in implementing automation. The role requires advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to optimize NAS systems for high-performance operations.

Location: Hyderabad (Work from Office)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L3-level support for NetApp CDOT in a NAS environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Demonstrate in-depth expertise in NetApp C Mode, including cluster configuration, SVM/volume-based replication, LIFs setup and storage efficiency implementation.
  • Manage and troubleshoot SMB/CIFS shares, NFS exports and dual protocol shares, ensuring seamless data access and performance.
  • Perform performance analysis, troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA)using tools like NetApp Active IQ Manager, OCUM and OnCommand System Manager.
  • Plan and execute patch/microcode upgrades and data migration from other storage arrays to NetApp C Mode, following ITIL Change Management
  • Lead Problem Management activities, including identifying, diagnosing and resolving complex storage issues.
  • Implement automation solutions to streamline storage operations, improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
  • Configure and manage Cluster Aggregates, Volumes, Qtrees, Snapshots and SVMs, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Mentor BAU support teams, contribute as an individual contributor and translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
  • Willingness to work in 24x7 shifts, including nights, as required.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with NetApp CDOT (ONTAP) 
  • HNAS knowledge is a plus.
  • Expertise in ITIL processes (Change Management, Problem Management).
  • Hands-on experience with CVO ONTAP (Cloud Volumes ONTAP).
  • Candidate with B. E/ B. tech/ M.Sc. or equivalent degrees are preferred
