About CloudOps Team: CloudOps team is responsible for Availability, Reliability, Performance, Monitoring, Emergency Response, and Capacity Planning of Icertis SaaS application & related services. CloudOps executes Infra & Access Provisioning, Upgrades, Deployments & Change management to drive faster time to market. This team plays critical part in building & executing the cloud strategy for the company. In addition to above, CloudOps also drives architectural improvements to improve scalability & optimize overall cost.
Responsibilities & Skills:
You will be architecting & leading large-scale projects to improve scalability, performance & reduce cost. Implement new cloud solutions on Azure, AWS & GCP for mission critical components in partnership with Product Engineering organization. You will be providing technology guidance to a mission critical 24x7 team that manages design, implementation & support of fast growing, multi-cloud environment. This role would have regular interaction with leaders of matrix organization to evangelize, influence and to drive initiatives. Build & drive overall detection to telemetry, execution using indigenous & external tools for early detection, self-healing & to prevent production incidents.Progressively evaluate transition to cloud native technologies to optimize overall footprint & enable rapid scalability.Design, implement application performance profiling to map application behavior vs infra utilization. Evangelize infra cost optimization best practices for end-to-end lifecycle of the product.Work with Cloud providers including Microsoft, Amazon & Google for optimizing offerings, new tech implementations to stay current & stay ahead.This role can involve internal customer interaction specific to performance, reliability of Icertis Cloud implementation & instill confidence in solutions offered. Interact with customers on/off-site to troubleshoot issues, provide workarounds to unblock functionality issuesEvangelize building a knowledge base with systems, processes, procedures, and infrastructure configuration. Also, known incidents/defects, Frequently Asked Questions, resolved issues, applying lessons learned and previous resolutions to new incidents.
Required Skills:Minimum 11-15 years of working experience with mission critical, 24x7 Cloud Operations/SRE teams in B2B/B2C SaaS product organizations.Experience of designing & implementing large scale solutions with one or more of the public cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, GCP & OCP.Experience of managing large teams in intensive, ever-changing, mission critical, 24x7 environmentsExperience of Systems (Windows/Linux, and SQL Databases) and Network architecture with hand on experience of fundamentalsDecent Windows Systems, SQL Database, and Network administration skillsStrong understanding of cloud concepts, applications, storage, compute and networking componentsScripting experience in PowerShell, Linux shell, Python or C# is desirableProactive and self-motivated, committed to achieving deadlines, meeting SLAs, and producing results Excellent customer service and people skills. Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication and relationship building skillsA good listener & can articulate complex scenarios under pressure situations.
