How You Will Make an Impact:

As the Finance Systems Manager, you will be the driving force behind the strategic vision and execution of our financial systems. Serving as both the lead system administrator and developer, you will be pivotal in shaping and implementing a robust finance systems strategy and roadmap that supports Iterable’s growth and scalability. Your expertise will be crucial in designing and architecting scalable financial systems that align with our expanding global footprint. You will collaborate closely with Finance and cross-functional teams to spearhead Finance transformation initiatives, enhance automation, streamline core financial processes, and support international expansion efforts across current and future finance systems.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Systems Management & Optimization: Serve as the principal administrator for key business systems and tools such as NetSuite, Zone Billing, Floqast, Avalara, and Carta. Your responsibilities will include managing user access, conduct upgrade testing, develop workflows, and oversee application integration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with accounting and finance teams to enable new features within NetSuite and other financial systems, driving alignment among cross-functional stakeholders for solution design. Provide ongoing support and training to end-users for better system adoption.
  • Data Reporting & Analysis: Develop, maintain, and enhance financial dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools across systems to support leadership in making data-driven decisions.
  • Process Automation: Lead initiatives to automate financial processes such as billing, revenue recognition, payroll, and reporting. 
  • Financial Data Integrity: Maintain the accuracy and consistency of financial data across all systems, collaborating with finance and IT teams to establish processes for data quality assurance.
  • System Implementation & Upgrades: Oversee the implementation of system upgrades, configurations, and new financial tools, ensure integration across platforms, and support user training.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure financial systems comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements (SOX, IPO-readiness) while implementing security best practices across systems. Provide consultation and technical leadership in project planning.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest system functionalities and proactively identify and execute on system improvements, increasing operational efficiency and optimizing reporting.
  • Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison for financial system vendors, ensuring service levels are met and exploring future system enhancements or upgrades.

We Are Looking for Individuals Who Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in developing system solutions for Finance, including system configuration, development, data security, and reporting. Experience with NetSuite is required.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience.
  • Expertise in NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management and a deep understanding of NetSuite’s core processes, modules, customization, and reporting functionalities.
  • Experience with BI reporting tools such as Sigma is preferred.
  • Proficiency in writing optimized queries for integration with other applications.
  • A solid understanding of general accounting processes, including but not limited to revenue recognition, AR, AP, and payroll.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A keen ability to evaluate systems, processes, and workflows, developing plans for change, improvement, or integration.
  • Experience in providing risk assessment for new functionalities and enhancements, while identifying process improvement opportunities to drive innovation.
  • Confidence in interfacing with all levels and departments within the organization, coupled with outstanding change management skills to lead teams through transitions.
  • A detail-oriented, analytical mindset, with the ability to multi-task and solve problems in a fast-paced environment, adapting to change as needed.

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is 133,500 - 200,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.

Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
