We are seeking a Product Marketer, Competitive Intelligence to own and elevate Iterable’s competitive positioning in the market. This role will be responsible for tracking competitors, distilling insights, and equipping our sales, marketing, and product teams with the intelligence needed to win. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the martech landscape, experience in competitive analysis, and a passion for delivering actionable insights that drive strategy and revenue growth.

Competitive & Market Intelligence

  • Competitive Analysis & Research: Monitor and analyze competitor strategies, positioning, pricing, and product developments to identify key trends and threats.
  • Market Insights & Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging players, and shifts in customer needs to inform Iterable’s positioning.
  • Win/Loss Analysis: Gather insights from sales deals, customer feedback, and third-party research to understand why we win or lose and drive strategic recommendations.

Sales Enablement & Positioning

  • Sales Enablement: Develop battle cards, competitive briefs, and objection-handling guidance to empower the sales team in competitive deals.
  • Messaging & Differentiation: Refine and evolve Iterable’s competitive differentiation with compelling messaging that resonates with prospects and customers.
  • Content Development: Create high-impact competitive marketing materials, including blogs, webinars, reports, and internal guides.
  • Enablement & Training: Run ongoing competitive training sessions for sales and customer-facing teams to ensure they are equipped with the latest insights and strategies.

Analyst Relations & Industry Influence

  • Leverage Analysts for Market Intelligence: Build relationships with key industry analysts (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC) to gather insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer expectations.
  • Educate Analysts on Iterable’s POV: Regularly brief analysts on Iterable’s differentiation, roadmap, and market position to influence reports, rankings, and industry perception.
  • Monitor & Respond to Analyst Reports: Track analyst publications, Magic Quadrants, Waves, and other research to ensure our positioning is accurately represented and proactively address any gaps.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in product marketing, competitive intelligence, or related roles in B2B SaaS, preferably in martech, customer engagement, or adjacent industries.
  • Experience working with industry analysts and leveraging research to inform competitive strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience synthesizing complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Proven experience developing competitive assets such as battle cards, win/loss analyses, and sales enablement materials.
  • Ability to craft compelling messaging that differentiates against competitors.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across various teams.
  • Familiarity with competitive intelligence tools (e.g., Clozd, Klue, Kompyte) is a plus.
  • Self-starter with a strategic mindset, curiosity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $130,000 - $195,500. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.

Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
