As the Director of Product Line Management you will be responsible for the technical relationship with key customers and be based out of the JMA office in Syracuse, NY.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible to the technical relationship with key customers in designated marketsDrive new product initiatives across all JMA customers in a specified territoryDrive advanced new technology/spectrum architecture discussions that incorporate JMA product or new product opportunitiesEvaluate product market fit and review with engineering based on customer feedback and industry expertise.Responsible for Product line profitability, including SKU rationalization, pricing and cost reduction Develop the value proposition, customer/partner strategy, marketing materials and product documentation for new products.Lead customer product discussions and presentations, demonstrating how JMA RF Connectivity and Powering products add value to the Wireless Carrier Networks.Provide product and technical expertise to support Sales efforts of JMA productsLead technical tasks (field trials & product demonstrations), including written proposals (RFPs), and complex network designs.Must be able to effectively communicate solutions to customers and work with Sales teams and other internal JMA departments.Collect and assist in assessment/prioritization of new features to develop and propose product enhancements to meet customer requirementsProvide monthly forecast and product capacity needs to meet forecasted customer demand with operations Assist in tracking of product deliverables and communicating issues to regional teamsRequired Attributes:
Detailed understanding of Carrier Network 4G & 5G RAN deployments and architectures, preferably with experience of RAN OEMsProven track record in product management demonstrated with revenue and margin growthHands-on RF Design or System Performance experience in Wireless network deployments Required experience with RF Coax Connectivity and DC Up Convertor Products .Be able to give detailed product technical presentations to articulate product features and how they relate to customer networks.Needs to have demonstrated lead in management of on-going activities such as RFP activity, trials and product acceptance.An ability to learn and apply new concepts and technologies quicklyCustomer facing experience and working with Sales, Project Management, System Engineering and System TechnologistAbility to build strong customer relationships and support an overall sales strategyTime management skills; ability to plan, prioritize, execute & follow-up within a timely mannerProfessionalism in attitude, conduct, and appearanceAbility to work within a high-performance teamRequired Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 7+ years’ experience in RAN business development, product management and account management.Master’s Degree preferred.Expert in Carrier network RAN architecture design and site deployment strategiesIn-depth knowledge of RF Coax products and DC Up Convertors with at least five year experience with US Tier 1 Carriers10 years Wireless Cellular telecommunication industry experiencePrior experience as a contributor in a Product Line Management Role Excellent presentation and communication skillsMust be able to communicate effectively with technical audience.Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.Excellent MS Excel skillsMicrosoft Office experienceMust be able to read and understand technical drawings#LI-TM1
