ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior National Account Manager (SNAM) manages an assigned group of multi-site operators across varied UK trade channels (specifically Wholesale & Vape Distributors) within the UK market. The SNAM is a pivotal role within the UK commercial team with responsibilities for developing and growing Juul’s product listings, distribution, rate of sale and retailer share of mind/voice through seamless development and execution of customer account plans.
Performance in this role will be measured primarily by achievement of key financial metrics, product listings revenue, volume and sales growth and implementation and execution of joint business plans.
The Senior National Account Manager role is ideal for someone currently in an FMCG business looking to grow and develop within a challenging and rewarding national account role. The Senior National Account Manager role reports to the Head of National Accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Full Ownership of P&L, contract negotiations, relationship, execution and KPI’s for assigned accounts: mindful of group agreements and structures.
- Develop, implement and manage the Joint Business Planning process ensuring business objectives are jointly owned and exceeded
- Develop and nurture strong multi - level relationships amongst a range of departments within your customers business, and facilitate the building and growing of strong relationships between the customers and the Juul team
- Develop and implement trade and channel marketing plans specific to the assigned customers in line the with the UK business plan
- Manage account budgets ensuring spend in line with agreed objectives and contractual obligations
- Forecasting accurately using data analysis to identify risks and opportunities
- Maintain and agree contractual obligations, and ensure the highest levels of customer services
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience and knowledge of the FMCG retail environment specifically Wholesale
- Experience and ability to manage a diverse group of stores across a geographic area
- Persuasive and adaptable presenter - ability to positively influence different stores and staff
- Strong resilience and desire to drive continuous improvements and operate in a changing environment
- Customer centric-ability to build strong business relationships with different customer profiles both internally and externally
- Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
- A full UK driving license is required for this role
- At least 5-year experience working in a business development and or national account role in the FMCG sector
EDUCATION:
- BA/BS degree
- Experience in the FMCG sector and working with National Wholesalers in the UK
