Job Summary
As a PR & Communications Associate, your main objective will be to build and maintain strong media relations while developing effective PR campaigns that resonate with our target audience. Additionally, you will be responsible for internal and external communications that capture awareness and engagement for Lalamove. By effectively executing these tasks, you will contribute to the overall growth of our business, establish a strong brand presence, and cultivate a positive brand image.

What you’ll do

  • PR (50%)
  • Develop and edit media pitches, news releases, speeches, articles, interviews and other editorial collateral to garner positive media coverage.
  • Manage and handle sensitive public issues and prevent reputational risk to the company's brand and image.
  • Nurture current media relations as well as identify new potential media relations, including managing media interactions and follow-ups.
  • Plan and execute press conferences, media briefings, and other PR events to promote the company’s initiatives and products.
  • Develop and implement PR strategies, riding on various media channels aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and manage outcomes.
  • Provide regular reports and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Communications (50%)
  • Manage seeding, KOL, Community booking to maximize brand exposure and awareness.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to enhance SEO performance. Optimize website content for on-page and off-page SEO factors to improve organic search rankings.
  • Develop and implement an effective content strategy and SEO-optimized content (including blog posts, articles, landing pages, etc.) to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and support overall business goals.
  • Regularly monitor and analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO software (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Handle administrative tasks, ensure campaigns’ related paperwork (e.g., contracts, invoices, approvals) is timely organized, tracked, and properly finished.
  • Special/ ad hoc projects as assigned by the Line Manager/ Department Danager.
  • What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years hands-on experience in PR and Content.
  • Proven experience in media relations, PR, and Content.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear and persuasive messages.
  • Negotiation and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships.
  • Be a networker and negotiator who can present the Lalamove brand confidently and strike an effective deal with mutual benefits.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and in a team.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills..
  • Strong communication skills & Proficiency in English skills.
