The role in a nutshell:

We are looking for a motivated CRM Automation Specialist to join our marketing team and elevate our CRM capabilities. This role will focus on implementing, optimizing, and scaling CRM campaigns using our marketing CRM system, Braze. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation in HTML/CSS, Liquid syntax, and data structures, enabling them to create personalised, results-driven campaigns.

In addition to technical implementation, this role requires creativity and strategic thinking to design and execute engaging campaigns across various CRM channels, including email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and content cards. You will also play a key role in building automated workflows and reusable components to enhance scalability and efficiency. Your work will directly contribute to driving customer engagement, improving campaign performance, and achieving business objectives.

Your mission will be:

CRM Campaign Execution:

  • Plan, build, and execute CRM campaigns, including email, push notifications, in-app messages, and content cards using Braze.
  • Utilise HTML/CSS, Liquid syntax, and Braze platform capabilities to create responsive and visually appealing campaign assets.

Dynamic Content Development:

  • Design and implement personalised content blocks and reusable components in Braze to tailor messaging based on customer behaviour and preferences.

Automation & Journey Building:

  • Build and manage automated workflows, customer journeys, and triggers within Braze to deliver timely and relevant communications.
  • Monitor automation processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with customer engagement goals.

Optimisation & Analysis:

  • Conduct A/B tests within Braze to optimise campaign performance, focusing on key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Analyse campaign data in Braze to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.

Collaboration:

  • Partner with product and marketing teams to align CRM strategies with broader business objectives.

Maintenance & Best Practices:

  • Regularly update and maintain Braze templates and components to ensure consistency and compliance with industry standards.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in Braze features, CRM strategies, and email marketing best practices.

A little about you:

  • 2–5 years of experience in a CRM-focused marketing role with an emphasis on automation and technical execution.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools, with proficiency in Braze being highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of segmentation, Boolean logic, audience targeting, and dynamic content creation using Liquid syntax.
  • Familiarity with data structures, APIs, and integration of CRM tools with other platforms.
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS, with a focus on responsive email design and building reusable, modular components.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize, build, and optimize impactful, personalised campaigns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, especially in campaign QA and execution.
  • Proficiency in email marketing best practices, push notification strategies, and in-app messaging techniques.
  • A strong personal and professional interest in: Decentralised cryptocurrencies, blockchain, finance, financial inclusion and/or personal finance.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
