Reporting to the VP of Talent Acquisition (TA), you will lead and innovate within Lyft's TA Strategy and Operations (TASO) function, driving forward-thinking strategies that redefine excellence in Talent Acquisition. Your role will be pivotal in shaping best-in-class processes, tools, and governance across key verticals: Operations, Coordination, and Programs. TASO not only ensures seamless execution across the Talent Acquisition function but also propels the team toward the future by spearheading strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, foster innovation, and position Lyft as a leader in attracting and retaining top talent.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and develop the TA Strategy and Operations team to achieve recruiting priorities and drive a high level of performance for the business.
- You will be a leading voice in the evolution of Lyft’s global TA team, overseeing TA’s primary support functions - developing, implementing and refining recruiting practices that will position Lyft to win now and in the future.
- Support the TA Systems team and VP, TA in ensuring Lyft’s recruitment technology ecosystem is user-friendly, efficient and continuously evolving to meet business needs. You will play a key role in gathering end-user feedback, troubleshooting issues and driving process improvements to ensure TA systems are optimised for a best in class experience.
- Identify, explore and drive use of technology to modernize and automate Talent Acquisition, including approved potential uses of AI.
- Provide strategic oversight of the Recruiting Coordination team, with a focus on delivering an exceptional candidate experience, streamline scheduling processes, and implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Question the status quo and pioneer practices to improve processes, realize efficiencies and drive effectiveness across the entire function.
- Develop and lead the teams through measurable objectives and comprehensive recruiting metrics.
- Ensure the appropriate controls, KPIs and training is in place to help TA team members deliver the talent needs of the business.
- Build credible and trustworthy relationships across the business, TA and broader people team.
Experience:
- Extensive experience in operationally focused roles within Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, HR, or related fields, with a strong emphasis on driving efficiency and innovation.
- Demonstrated experience innovating and implementing automation in TA.
- In depth knowledge of recruitment tools and software.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and champion scalable processes leveraging technology that align with broader organizational goals.
- Expertise in developing and executing innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Strong strategic thinker with a focus on delivering results, able to balance high-level vision with hands-on execution when needed.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with courage and creativity, challenging the status quo and fostering a forward-thinking, collaborative environment.
- Successful track record in managing and influencing large-scale, cross-functional talent initiatives that includes evolving a TA Tech Stack.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid
The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $156,000 - $195,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
