As a Supervisor, you contribute to the success of the organization by manually assembling (workstations) our products (mechanical and electronic) in order to carry out production plans.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and motivate the assembly team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Production Coordination: Plan and organize assembly schedules and resources to meet production deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor assembly processes to ensure products meet quality standards and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve workflow.
- Training and Development: Train team members on assembly techniques, tools, and safety protocols; foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety guidelines and ensure all team members comply with health and safety regulations.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between assembly workers and management, ensuring effective communication of goals, updates, and feedback.
- Inventory Management: Oversee materials and tools inventory to ensure availability and minimize downtime.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production data, performance metrics, and any incidents, reporting to higher management as needed.
Experience:
- Education: College diploma in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an asset.
- Experience with continuous improvement systems (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) is an asset.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing teams and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Commitment to fostering a safe and efficient working environment.
- Bilingual French , English is an asset

The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is $58,144 - $72,680 CAD. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
