Position Summary:

The Office of the Commissioner seeks a Part - Time Broadcast Engineer to support the MLB Replay Operations
Center and all (30) MLB franchises.

Responsibilities:

● Verify ballpark equipment including video servers and communication equipment
● Document equipment status and verify incoming video streams for Replay
● Communicate with local technicians and Replay Operators to coordinate video requests and equipment confirmations
● Keep detailed and thorough notes and documentation
● Assist in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on all broadcast devices
● Respond to requests for technical support via telephone and email

Qualifications and Skills:

● Have fundamental understanding of Broadcast technology
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to read and understand technical materials
● Ability to recognize and troubleshoot issues in infrastructure environments and software applications
● Ability to work well with others within a team environment and without direct supervision
● Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays

Knowledge of the following equipment a bonus:
Evertz systems, Hawkeye systems, Riedel Intercoms, Remote camera operations, etc.

Pay Range: $30 - $32 per hour
