Manhattan Beer Distributors now has 1.5 million feet of warehouse space, the distribution rights to 300 brands, 400 trucks and services 15 counties. Our aim is to provide great service to all of our customers from the convenience store owner to our big chain operators, restaurants, bars and hotels.

How Will You Contribute?
The Director of Space Execution oversees a team of Reset Specialists, combining expertise in space management with strategic leadership to optimize product placement and planogram execution. This role requires leveraging data, tools, and analytics to drive results, ensuring high-quality work that meets company objectives and enhances the shopper’s experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Manhattan Beer Distributor’s vision for space management through branch level field activity, planogram development, execution and space planning.
- Manage and develop of team of Reset Specialists. Facilitate communication between the Reset Specialists and sales teams to resolve any discrepancies related to product placements, unauthorized packages, and missing items.
- Set, measure and achieve metrics for team such as retailer capabilities, presentation development and planogram execution.
- Scorecard space metrics including feet gained and product facings.
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing product placement and planogram execution across all retail locations,
- Oversee the development of store-specific planograms by the team, ensuring they are aligned with consumer trends, sales data, and market demands.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Chain Team to identify account target list, product opportunities and ensure their placement in store layouts.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and according to planogram specifications. Allocate resources effectively to meet the demands of different projects, store requirements and planogram execution.
- Work closely with buyers, store owners, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of planograms and address any issues that arise.
- Conduct regular audits of planogram implementation to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Monitor the integrity and sales performance of account resets, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure that the team maintains up to date PDF files on cloud storage.
- Analyze sales data and customer behavior to guide the development of effective merchandising strategies.
- Track and report on the impact of resets on sales performance, using data to inform future strategies and performance of Reset Specialists.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Valid driver’s license. Ability to travel and be in the trade as required (at least 50%).
- Ability to bend, lift and move up to 55lbs.
- 10-12 years of experience in the beverage alcohol industry with knowledge of distributor and retailer space management. Supervisory experience required.
- Proficiency in JDA space management software.
- Advanced understanding and application of a variety of system output and application of measures for IRI, Nielsen, or Spectra syndicated data.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated diligence and ability to follow through on all commitments.
- Proven track record in building strong relationships with customers, as well as internal and external associates.
- Demonstrated strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Salary Range: $125,000.00-$135,000.00
It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus and other potential incentives.
