Marcus & Millichap, the nation’s largest real estate investment brokerage firm, is searching for a Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team. The Graphic Designer is a non-exempt position dually-reporting to the department Supervisor and Manager.

This role requires a strong understanding of graphical balance within layouts, an ability to communicate key content visually with an eye for typography, color, and branding. A desire to collaborate, be forward-thinking, apply a positive customer-focused demeanor, and work successfully within a high-production, quick-paced environment are essential. This individual will play a pivotal role in communicating the story of our institutional, high-value assets through compelling design. In tandem, becoming knowledgeable about commercial real estate will be expected.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Calabasas, CA is $28 - $32 hourly .The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type of experience withing the industry, education, etc. Marcus & Millichap is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-end real estate collateral through creative layouts and visual storytelling across multi-page print and digital landscapes.
  • Utilize design-thinking methodologies to solve complex layout challenges and enhance user experience.
  • Create custom infographics, location mapping, and property graphics using stock or provided photography.
  • Serve as project manager, develop project scope, communicate timelines, and manage client expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet the client’s goals
  • Showcase a desire to learn from, absorb, and apply creative feedback.
  • Embody strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Stay current with design trends and tools to continually improve design quality and apply them to your role.
  • Required Knowledge and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of proven work experience in a related creative marketing role
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent education and experience
  • Prior experience in commercial real estate or related industry is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients (agents) and internal support teams
  • Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite core applications is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications is highly-recommended.
  • Experience with using project management software is a plus, but not required
