About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager, Commercials who will lead the procurement & commercials for IT, Marketing, HR, Admin, Legal verticals at Meesho. This role provides an uniqueopportunity to be an integral part of the ecosystem wherein, Meesho partners with a varied range of global companies. This role requires to manage the company's overall requirements pertaining to procurement of services and products consumed by the organization across various functions. Find the best value deal for the organization with a rationalized approach.

What will you do

  • Lead the categories assigned to you such as Marketing, IT while working across different range of projects to have all skills expertise. 
  • Perform cost analysis and benchmarking exercises to negotiate the cost and evaluate for decision making. 
  • Create and publish reports on a timely basis and update trackers for data management. 
  • Manage and negotiate contracts and terms with the suppliers and close agreements within a certain TAT. 
  • Manage commercial requirements across categories from IT. Marketing, HR, Admin, Legal etc. 
  • In-depth knowledge of IT procurement i.e. softwares, SaaS Models, Subscription based, servers & data, hardware etc. 
  • Quick turn around to close deals while following all due processes and documenting the journey. 
  • Establish category specific objectives and formulate sourcing strategies. 
  • Industry knowledge and connects in domain expertise for benchmarking purposes and ensuring benchmark data is maintained and adhered.
  • Ensure proper internal stakeholder management and external vendor management.
  • What will you need

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline; masters degree will be a plus.
  • 4-7 Years of post qualification experience in the procurement domain. 
  • Preference to IT and Marketing procurement folks having hands-on experience. 
  • Excellent knowledge of different cost models and pricing methodology. 
  • Proven skills in Market Analysis (category specific), Vendor identification, Vendor Profile Evaluation.
  • Performance Assessment and Vendor Management.
  • Knowledge of regional statutory regulations and Tax structure related to the category.
  • Ability to network and form high quality working relationships with stakeholders/ colleagues in multiple locations and handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently and within a team environment provide direction, troubleshoot and meet goals and objectives.
  • Ability to understand, translate requirements and find appropriate solutions with quick turnaround time and meet organizational and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills in Marketing Procurement.
  • Good communication and Presentation skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of e-sourcing applications (Eg: ARIBA, SAP, Oracle) is desirable.
