As part of Meesho's Fulfillment and Experience (F&E) team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the logistics framework to support the next billion e-commerce users in India. Our team consists of 100+ smart individuals who are analytical, first-principle problem solvers and gets excited about creating 10x impact with innovative solutions. About the Role
WaaS - Warehousing as a Service at Meesho
Meesho is a pure-play marketplace where we do not purchase inventory or offer preferential treatment to select vendors. Our mission is to democratize e-commerce in India. As the next step in this journey, we are building a warehousing platform that provides sellers with access to warehousing solutions, enabling them to deliver products faster and at lower costs. This initiative ensures a level playing field for all sellers, allowing small businesses to compete with large brands.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, diagnosing operational challenges, and implementing structural solutions to scale this business successfully. Your scope will encompass everything required to drive the WaaS initiative forward, including determining which products should be stocked in warehouses, identifying which sellers to onboard, selecting optimal warehouse locations, managing P&L, and optimizing warehouse operations. Additionally, you will focus on operational excellence, establishing a robust Warehouse Control Tower, and generating demand and trust markers for warehouse adoption. On the user front, we are committed to express delivery, making supply chain efficiency a core aspect of our operations.
You will be responsible for spearheading strategic 0-1 programs within the warehousing and logistics supply chain charters. Your role will involve leading high-impact strategic projects to drive operational excellence. You will analyze warehousing operations, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and engage with key stakeholders to size and solve these challenges. Additionally, you will work closely with product, tech, and on-ground operations teams to design and pilot 0-1 stage solutions. You will define success metrics for these pilots, ensure their scalability, and continuously identify the next opportunity for improvement.
