About the Team

We are solving a unique problem, one that’s mostly untouched by other e-commerce players. We are designing ecommerce for the Next Billion Users - the users from Tier-2+ markets who are new to the ecommerce landscape and have (almost) never transacted online before.

About the Role
 
We are looking for a problem-solving, forward-thinking Sr Business Manager for NMV/MAU. Someone who can lead & influence a team of program managers and deliver results. A leader who can strategise & scale by empowering other program managers in the team as they deliver results while working across Business, Product, Tech, Logistics, etc. 

They will need to be able to present to the CEO once a month on the progress we are making on the NMV/MAU side.

What you will do

  • Jointly with the Product & Business Director in NMV, set the company direction on how we should grow our topline 
  • Figure out which metrics need to be measured, implement how they need to be measured at scale
  • Present monthly to the CEO about the progress we are making on the NMV/MAU Charter
  • Mentor, motivate & provide direction to a team of Program Managers.
  • Advocate Meesho’s values across the organisation.
  • Think of the bigger picture, have a holistic view while also diving deep when required. 
  • Plan & manage the growth & development of your team members, while always inspiring them to push boundaries.
  • Define KRA's & goals for the team and individuals.
  • Communicate priorities and key design decisions with stakeholders with your excellent verbal, written & visual communication skill.
  • What you will need

  • Bachelors Degree & preferably Masters degree
  • Contextual understanding of e-commerce business 
  • 3+ years of program management experience with at least 1+ years in leading teams.
  • At Least 6+ years work experience with a track record of delivering results across experiences.  Experience with startups and fast-paced environments is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrate quick career progression either within the same company or across companies.
  • Pricing Experience is a strong preference. 
  • Deep understanding of business and customers. 
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management. 
  • Used qualitative and quantitative data on consumer insights to extract the underlying user needs, and then driving problems to solutions and opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate and articulate decisions clearly and concisely to various audiences.
