Job Overview
As a Commissions Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by serving as a key liaison between the Sales, Finance, and Accounting teams. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our sales commission processes, contributing to accurate and timely compensation payments on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure accurate and timely monthly and quarterly compensation payments.
- Create, validate, and audit monthly reports for commission payouts.
- Manage and track SPIF programs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve calculation or data errors to maintain 100% accuracy.
- Support design and testing of compensation plans and quota changes.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to minimize errors and communicate findings.
- Generate and distribute Compensation Plans and Statements.
- Collaborate with Sales, Sales Operations, Accounting, Finance, and HR to enhance operational processes.
- Address and resolve employee inquiries related to compensation.
- Facilitate onboarding of sales employees from newly acquired companies onto commission plans.
Requirements & Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably in Revenue Operations.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A high degree of integrity in handling confidential information.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Salesforce and sales compensation systems.
