As a part of our expansion, we are searching for a Level III Test Engineer to join us and work closely with a geographically distributed team across US, Mexico, UK, and India. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring quality, which is at the heart of engineering practices, with a bias towards test and tooling automation. Additional responsibilities include reviewing client reported defects, performing triage and research, designing test plans and test cases, and developing QA solutions for web-based enterprise applications. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Reproduce reported client issues in a QA environment; document reproduction steps clearly to assist the development and support teams in crafting solutions 
  • Engage with clients to discuss reported issues, gather the required information, and clarify details. 
  • Collaborate with Support, Product Management, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve client issues. 
  • Create tickets in defect backlog and provide detailed information to assist the scrum team to resolve the defect 
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum teams to create, maintain and execute automated test cases/test scripts to ensure thorough testing of software products 
  • Conduct peer reviews of other team members’ test plans and test cases 
  • Deploy and build the test environment(s) and generate the relevant test data as needed 
  • Contribute to a culture of high quality, personal ownership, and customer-focused execution 
  • Produce high quality, reusable and maintainable automated testing solutions 

 

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • 6+ years of extensive manual and automation testing experience including 3+ years in automated testing. 
  • Proficiency in testing tools such as Cypress and K6 
  • Proficiency in JavaScript 
  • Experience with GitHub or other source control management tool 
  • Experience in Test Cases Management Systems like TestRail, Defect Management tools like Jira. 
  • Proficiency in authoring, reviewing, writing, and executing manual and Automated test cases 
  • Good knowledge of testing web applications on Cloud Platforms Development (AWS). 
  • Good knowledge in SQL and relational database concepts 
  • Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices using Cypress Cloud 
  • Experience in working with a team of 5-6 Maintenance Engineers. 
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum or Kanban) 
  • Experience in working as maintenance QA who collaborates with all stakeholders (Clients, Support, Product and Maintenance team) 
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent

  • Test Driven Development, Behaviors Driven Development 
  • Rest API, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, K6, Web Services 
  • Exposure to BI and DWH tools testing 
  • Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS) 
  • API tools like Postman, Soap UI 
  • Experience with data masking technology
