YOUR TEAM

Behind the scenes of our projects, the administrative services work to highlight every initiative. They are involved at different stages of development, providing support and assistance to the Moment Factory teams. You will join a passionate team that thrives on the diversity of projects, varied production cycles, and a wide range of clients.

YOUR MISSION

As an accounts payable technician, you will have the opportunity to handle all tasks related to the accounts payable cycle. This includes all tasks related to accounts payable, expense accounts, and credit cards for Moment Factory and its affiliated companies.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accounts Payable:

  • Create new suppliers in the system and ensure all necessary information is provided.
  • Enter and process supplier invoices in a multicurrency environment in the accounting system.
  • Verify that sales taxes are correctly applied.
  • Compare invoices, purchase orders, and receiving slips to ensure quantities, descriptions, and prices match.
  • Ensure supplier invoices are processed within the prescribed deadlines.
  • Issue payments (EFT, wire transfers, and occasionally cheques).
  • Reconcile supplier statements.

  • Expense Accounts:

  • Verify and process expense account reports
  • Track the approval of expense accounts

  • Credit Card:

  • Process and settle all credit card bills
  • Reconcile credit card balances

  • Other:

  • Participate in strategies for optimizing and continuously improving the accounting process.

    • YOUR JOURNEY INCLUDES

  • DEP/DEC in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a paperless environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Experience with an ERP software, knowledge of Netsuite software, an asset.
  • Experience in an international environment, handling currencies and sales taxes is an asset.
  • Bilingualism is preferred (French and English), both verbally and in writing (you will be communicating with English-speaking clients in this position).
