YOUR TEAM
The Motion Design and 3D team brings all of our imaginary concepts to life. They shape the ideas that become experiences that capture the imagination of people around the world. Creators of imaginary worlds, their skills are the showcase of all our projects. Their canvases are unlimited, inspired, and move to the rhythm of wondrous moments.

YOUR MISSION
The Motion Designer is a member of the Content team in charge of the production and animation of visual content for multimedia installations. They work as a Motion Designer and must have a remarkable artistic flair and an advanced technical knowledge. Moreover, they must be able to assess the resources needed to deliver projects within time and budget.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be responsible for the production and delivery of parts of projects assigned to him/her in respect with schedules and deadlines;
  • Evaluate and suggest appropriate production techniques;
  • Works closely with the Director and the Project Manager to create content production calendars and ensure a project delivery within that time frame;
  • Participate into the creative process of projects with Multimedia Directors and Lead Motion Designers by proposing concepts and creative storyboards;
  • Work with Multimedia Directors, Creative Writers and Technicians to ensure a synergy between the environment, the content and the technology used;
  • Act as a resource in his/her field of expertise for the team to assist, train, guide and build a product linked with his knowledge and expertise;
  • Be on the constant lookout for the latest in technologies and artistic trends;Perform any other responsibility and/or task related to the position.
  • YOUR JOURNEY REQUIRES

  • More than 5 years of experience in visual content creation (2D/3D animation and motion design);
  • Experience in the creation of visuals integrated into multimedia environments an asset;
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe’s After Effects, for animation and compositing;
  • Knowledge of After Effect’s plugins, like the Red Giant’s suite;
  • Advanced knowledge of Maxon’s C4D, for animation, mograph, and rendering;
  • Experience in render engines: Red Shift and/or Arnold;
  • Knowledge of Insydium’s X-Particles is an asset;Knowledge of other Adobe Suite applications: Photoshop, Illustrator; Premiere;
  • Experience with Epic’s Unreal Engine is an asset;
  • Knowledge of Unreal’s Blueprints is an asset;
  • Knowledge and experience in Houdini is an asset;
  • Professional functional knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written;
  • Knowledge and/or interest in the AI field.
