We’re looking for an experienced and driven leader with exceptional energy, passion, and initiative to manage a highly talented Pre-Sales Solution Architecture team in Central Europe, where we proudly employ over 100 professionals, including 20+ solution architects.

Position Overview
As a Manager for Solutions Architecture, you’ll recruit, lead, and develop our Solutions Architects team across the region. Working closely with our sales leaders, you’ll help define, refine, and execute our enterprise sales strategies. You will also play a pivotal role in moving the business forward by bringing the voice of experience and best practices, ensuring talent retention, and establishing MongoDB as a key player in the data management market.
MongoDB Solution Architects partner with the go-to-market team to design and build solutions addressing customer business needs. Our team includes seasoned software architects, entrepreneurs, and developers who drive customer success and serve as trusted advisors to a diverse client base, from startups to the world’s largest enterprises.
Candidate Profile
- 4+ years of pre-sales experience, with strong commercial skills
- 2+ years of management experience, ideally in pre-sales, with distributed team management preferred
- Driven – you possess a strong desire to be successful
- Disciplined – you are skilled in managing time and resources and have a sound approach to technically qualifying opportunities
- Intelligent – you have an aptitude for quickly learning and establishing credibility
- Coachable – you are open to feedback and always looking to improve
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Database industry background is a plus
- Software development background is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Position Expectations
- Recruit, retain, and develop top pre-sales talent
- Partner with sales teams to drive success in enterprise accounts
- Work closely with Professional Services and Product Management to achieve customer satisfaction and collaborate with Marketing on seminars, trade shows, and other events
- Foster strong and effective customer relationships that generate growth opportunities
- Coach the team to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives
