We’re looking for a hardworking, driven Partner Sales Leader with superb energy, passion and initiative to drive partner awareness and channel new business for the fastest growing database on the planet, MongoDB. The Partner Sales team focuses exclusively on formulating and executing a pipeline generation strategy through Partners within assigned territories, resulting in aggressive pipeline growth and new customer acquisition.

Responsibilities
- The goal is to drive incremental value to the field sales team via GSI and RSI engagement
- Develop and execute Strategic SI partner strategy across ASEAN, including GSI and RSI
- Recruit and develop effective partner relationships, resulting in growth opportunities and mutual beneficial partnerships
- Proactively prospect, identify, qualify and develop a sales pipeline through these Partners
- Work with our Sales team to close business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual bookings objectives
- Lead engagement of strategic SI partners to develop their sales, pre-sales and delivery capabilities in line with our strategy of amplifying partners with capabilities and certifications to deliver for their customers
- Drive optimal engagement between MongoDB sales teams and cloud partners on execution of sales strategy
- Work with cross functional teams including marketing, enablement, customer success, solution architect teams to drive pipeline generations and deal progression
- Participate in our sales enablement trainings, including our comprehensive Sales Bootcamp, sophisticated sales training, and leadership and development programs
Requirements
- Driven and competitive: Possess a strong desire to be successful
- Aligned to the Mongodb leadership principles
- 10+ years of quota-carrying experience generating pipeline and selling through Global/Regional System Integrators in a heavy sales matrix model
- Experience in Singapore and SEA markets.
- Possess aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility. High EQ and self-aware
- Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
- Intimate knowledge of GSI Partner organizations across multiple regions or verticals
- Examples of success developing and leading sophisticated strategic partnerships
- Proven background working in large complex organizations with multiple sales teams driving & building the partner ecosystem
- Strategic thinking skills to blend consulting and business strategy to develop compelling plans for new partner initiatives
- Proven success achieving & exceeding sales quotas or driving significant revenue through GSI partnerships, delivering results
- Knowledge of technology, applications products/solutions, platform and SaaS
- Sophisticated communication & interpersonal skills, able to build trust, manage & influence relationships with partners, executive leaders and internal teams with credibility & ease
- Examples of how to create and build differentiated relationships with partners
- Able to adapt to complexity & change continuously, thinking on multiple levels of abstraction; demonstrating outstanding critical thinking techniques
- Familiarity with databases, devops and open source technology a plus
- Skilled in managing time and resources; sound approach to qualifying opportunities
- BA/BS required
