The Business Systems Administrator is a key role on the Business Operations team that will leverage their knowledge of the Salesforce platform and features to address business problems and achieve desired outcomes. The role should be capable of analyzing and resolving technical issues using standard troubleshooting methodologies. Ideal candidates can read and interpret Apex code to understand existing automations and and collaborate with developers on solution delivery.

This position requires a driven self-starter with a deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities that can effectively collaborate with stakeholders of the Professional Services and CRM Engineering teams to drive the development of solutions. The successful candidate will be comfortable employing continuous integration practices using version control and deployment tooling. This role will report to the Senior Manager of PS Business Systems.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in US Central and Eastern time zones.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for maintaining CRM systems including enhancements, workflows, declarative automations, and permissions/security
  • Create customized dashboards in the Salesforce CRM Analytics Platform to provide visibility into critical business KPIs for the PS team
  • Stay up-to-date on new Salesforce and Certinia features to drive efficiency across the PS business
  • Collaborate with the Delivery Operations team to streamline/optimize operational processes in Certinia to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
  • Empower and encourage PS team members to provide suggestions to improve their Salesforce user experience
  • Contribute to development efforts on cross-departmental projects to implement strategic improvements to our Salesforce platform
  • Execute on a roadmap of new features and initiatives in Salesforce and Certinia
  • Utilize issue tracking software to continually prioritize the backlog of PS tickets for new projects and features in conjunction with CRM Engineering

What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor's degree is required
  • 6+ years experience with Salesforce CRM platform
  • Experience working with issue tracking software (JIRA preferred)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and version management concepts, practical experience is a plus (Gearset preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with experience with Salesforce automation tools such as Approval Process and Flows
  • Experience creating/improving reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM Analytics Platform is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects, and highlight risk and escalate when appropriate
  • Passion for working on a wide range of cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility with business owners from around the organization, developing strong partnerships with other teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems
  • Strong drive and self-motivation with a willingness to learn on the job

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:
$76,000$149,000 USD
