About the position:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment with responsibilities that include operational and technical accounting, managing a team, working globally and being the right hand to the VP, Corporate Controller.  The successful candidate must work well in a team environment while being a resourceful, independent self-starter, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements, including interaction with outside auditors during the annual audits
  • Track progress of the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Oversee the General Ledger to ensure that the accounting entries are prepared in accordance with GAAP including fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals, etc.
  • Oversee the monthly/quarterly/yearly close process, including preparation and/or review of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and various financial
    analyses for the US entity
  • Review monthly financial reporting packages including flux analysis for all international subsidiaries for consolidation purposes
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting budget vs. Actuals, financial flux analytics
  • Ensures a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets and improve operational efficiencies to ensure adherence to company policy and SOX
    404 regulations
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly cash flow statements and financial reporting packages
  • Manage all PO accruals processes by working closing with FP&A, shared service, and
    business units
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly equity roll forwards and respective footnote disclosures
  • Work closely with the Manila Shared Service Team and accounting service providers

Requirements:

  • 8-10+ years of global company environment experience
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP a plus
  • Ability to communicate professionally, clearly, and effectively with executive leaders
  • Has the hands-on experience with excellent operational experience to help execute the company’s vision and strategy
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication along with strong analytical skills
  • Proven knowledge of current US GAAP
  • Big 4 or public accounting experience a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
