About the position:

The Employee Relations Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing positive employee relations within Netskope. This role is responsible for fostering a harmonious work environment, resolving workplace conflicts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws. The Employee Relations Manager will collaborate with HR leadership, managers, and employees to promote a culture of respect, open communication, and fairness.

Responsibilities:

  • Workplace Investigations: Conduct prompt and thorough investigations into employee complaints, maintaining confidentiality and impartiality throughout the process.
  • Manage the Documentation and Tracking of Employee Relations Issues: Maintain accurate records of employee relations activities, investigations, and outcomes. Generate reports and analysis as needed.
  • Policy Development: Develop, review, and update company policies related to employee behavior, conduct, and standards to ensure alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Compliance: Stay up-to-date with employment laws, regulations, and industry trends, and ensure that company policies and practices are in compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Employee Communication: Serve as a point of contact for employees to discuss concerns, provide feedback, and seek guidance on workplace issues. Facilitate communication between employees and management.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs and materials related to employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace behavioral standards. 
  • Performance Management: Collaborate with HR and management to address performance-related issues and support the development of performance improvement plans.
  • Culture and Engagement: Contribute to initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture, including employee engagement programs and diversity and inclusion efforts.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations tactfully.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools.
  • Certification in HR or Employee Relations (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Global HR experience is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
