About the team

Netskope’s Tax Team manages all corporate direct tax (income tax) and in-direct tax (sales and use tax, VAT and GST).  This includes all of Netskope Inc's foreign subsidiaries' direct and in-direct taxes in their respective countries, and the filing of all required corporate tax returns, estimated payments and in-direct tax returns. In addition to all direct and in-direct tax, we are also responsible for GAAP reporting and reconciliations, interfacing with tax authorities for audits, ensuring transfer pricing is correctly calculated and documented, and addressing any and all tax issues arising from acquisitions and integration of acquisitions.

About the role

As a Sr. Tax Analyst you will report to the Sr. Tax Manager and be responsible for:

  • Preparing Excel workpapers for ASC 740 calculations and related disclosures for the federal, state, and international income tax (20 countries) including SEC GAAP footnote
  • Preparing Fin 48 workpapers to calculate required transfer pricing reserve
  • Gathering information required for U.S. federal and state tax returns
  • Responding to federal and state tax authorities for notices received
  • Assisting with documentation for income tax audits as needed
  • Assisting with Quarterly Federal and State and International estimated tax payments
  • Filing other required returns such as Ohio CAT tax, SF Business tax returns, etc.

Required skills and experience

  • 3-6 years of relevant tax experience in a public accounting and/or corporate environment
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
  • ASC 740 experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • NetSuite experience a plus
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized and demonstrate initiative to follow projects through completion
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Education

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Taxation, Business, Business/Administration and / or Economics is required
  • Certified Public Accountant strongly preferred
