The DevOps team at NFQ plays a key role in adapting the latest technologies and solutions to our customers and employees. The team is working on projects in areas such as retail, travel, power & utilities, aviation, healthcare or logistics. The team constantly share best practices and experiences with other teams - solving problems together and looking for the most suitable solutions. In this role, you will
Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical colleagues and clientsCreate DevOps delivery quality framework (estimates on target, code checking process, minimal bugs, etc)Share best DevOps practices with the team and organization. Ensure that DevOps principles are applied in projectsIncrease DevOps delivery effectiveness (create a framework that is flexible to cater to multiple clients but also reusable to reduce overhead for future projects, AI adaptiveness, etc)Ensure successful recruitment process (from technical perspective). Ensure that new team members have sufficient technical skills and knowledgePrior to each project start, prepare DevOps vision and together with assigned DevOps create infrastructure plan according to Client and Developers needsCreate framework on how fast and effectively onboarding new team members and cross-train them on various client environments and technologiesAct as a mentor for DevOps colleagues consulting on technical and career grow topicsWhat you will bring
Strong Linux/MacOS experience with proficiency in Bash/Unix built-insFluency in Git for efficient source code managementProficiency in MS Azure or AWS for cloud-based deploymentsExperience with Terraform and Terragrunt for automated infrastructure managementSolid understanding of routing, forwarding, ARP, NAT, DNS, and iptablesHands-on experience with Docker and KubernetesGood understanding of web applications and their lifecycleKnowledge of PHP or JavaFamiliarity with tools like New Relic, ELK, and similar solutionsExperience with GitLab pipelines and available servicesUnderstanding of Agile workflows and best practicesAbility to guide and mentor team members, driving best practices and technical excellenceA proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing effective solutionsStrong ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersProfessional working proficiency in English and Lithuanian
